The new store is approximately 63,000 square feet and brings approximately 60 new jobs to the community. The store will have everything customers need for their next outdoor adventure, including hunting, fishing, and camping gear, as well as sports equipment. The store will also carry a wide variety of leisure products, footwear, apparel, patio sets, barbecue grills, and much more, paired with exceptional customer service. Customers will be offered services such as scope mounting, bore sighting, line winding\/spooling, propane exchange and the ability to purchase hunting and fishing licenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Prior to the grand opening, the store donated $100 shopping sprees to 18 children with the Mooresville Police Athletic League. Additionally, each child\u2019s parent or guardian received a $150 shopping spree, in which they shopped alongside their child for all-new footwear, apparel, sports equipment, bikes, fishing and camping gear, and more. Academy Sports + Outdoors also made a surprise $2,000 donation to the Mooresville Police Athletic League.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Beginning Saturday, the community is invited to the store\u2019s two-day grand opening celebration.
